Quilt made using pockets and zips taken from old jeans
I like to upcycle fabrics and made this quilt for my son Tom to take to university with him. That's Tom holding it – he's 6 feet 5 inches tall, so it's quite a large quilt!

yet another Art owl! I seem to be obsessed with birds at the moment 🙂
Making a different shaped owl from scraps of fabric and odd buttons, it took about an hour.
Making a plain shift dress I decided to give it some colour with an egyptian style collar, using squares of different sizes, hand stitched onto the linen, the collar took 3 times as long to make as the dress did.
Using the pattern from your ebook on art dolls I made a turquoise crow out of all the scraps of fabric I keep in a basket, I've probably got enough scraps for a flock of these 🙂
Close up of one of the flock of birds
Using the ebook on assemblage art I made a flock of birds.
My cat Brian has great big eyes and a question mark tail and here he is in felt!
A small brooch made of felt, for my husband, because our kids call him Badger, because his hair is turning grey.
The first art doll I made – she's called Liberty because the fabric is a Liberty of London design and is beautiful. She's sitting on the ironing board in front of the bookcase in my studio.
