Fine Spun Majesty
For a Weathered and Worn ATC swap. Watercolor on a pamphlet I cut into a butterfly shape, watercolor, distress ink, gesso washes and splashes, more watercolor drips, book text and a bit of water soluble crayon.

I decided to work with some simple hand cut stencils. I made this octopus stencil and put in on a background that was textured with gesso and then painted with watercolors and collaged with tissue paper. I added some acrylic paint details and then the book text.
Another gesso textured ATC. Water soluble crayon and gold stamp ink. And book text.
Gesso for texture on watercolor paper, water soluble crayons.
I used up some scraps from a different project to make a few ATCs. These were fun to make. Gesso with texture background (thanks Julie Fei-Fan Balzer!) and water colored papers collaged.
The third ATC in this series.
Watercolor, scrapbook paper and other cool paper, acrylic paint.
