Flower Garden

This was my first "free-ing" art journal page. I truly felt free to used all kinds of media over a very simple acrylic background. I love the vibrant colors.

Womans face with white highlight

I had done this background a while back. I wasn't thrilled with it, but last night I added the face to it. Now it's my new fav! Thanks to Julie Fei-Fan Balzer I tried this technique and was successful! I owe this page to her daily blog e-mail.

Black Butterfly

This is my interpretation of a journal page I saw that was created by Andrea Walford. She's awesome! Newsprint for background, Two colors of Acrylic Paint, Butterfly Stencil, Black Archival Ink, A honeycomb-shaped screen (a leftover piece of something my husband had laying around) and stamped letters.

Floral Heart

I had painted a journal page and left it sit for quite some time. I really wanted to use the background so I found some random patterns I had painted/stamped on paper, punched them and adhered them to the page. The center heart was created using a Cuttlebug embossing folder.
