On the Inside

"On the Inside" was created by upcycling laminating film!  I cut the clear film to the specific pattern.  Next, I painted the inside using acrylic paints, glued the sides together and filled the house with shredded metallic tissue paper. This bangle began with a "skeleton" in 19 gauge dark-annealed steel wire.  I then tied in a square knot fashion,  my various gray, hand dyed, torn edge fabric.  Next I went back over the fabric with 26 gauge dark-annealed steel wire and put a few  #6 seed bead accents throughout the fabric.  My last step was to sew on each pearl to…

These earrings are titled "Hardware Glam" because the donut shapes are actually stainless steel washers I bought at the hardware store!  One earring measures 2 7/8" from the top of the earwire and 2 1/4" in width at the bottom of the earring.
