Have Art Supplies, Will Travel

My luggage tag combines many aspects of my art loves; linoleum carving (the airplane image is my own work), paper (i adore paper-source products and colors!), postage stamps (they have a unique quality, especially when used), washi tape (one of my new obsessions!) with cameras (taking photographs is entirely fulfilling), beautiful paper and delicious "souffle"…

Cat in front of Glass Bottles

I drew this little kitty with some beautiful glass bottles behind him.  i transfered it to soft cut linoleum and carved it out using linoleum carving tools.  I printed using a variety of colors of Speedball ink on Rives BFK paper.

Mad Crafty Sewing Machine!

After I drew and transfered this, I used Hankeshikun, a Japanese Eraser Block for Rubber Stamp Carving with traditional linoleum carving tools.  I inked this using Speedball ink onto Rives BFK paper.
