Map 1: Over Land

Materials: paper, wood, acrylic medium, glue This is a paper mosaic and collage depicting an aerial view of the San Francisco bay area.  I fly over this area when I travel to my parents' home.  I was struck by how unusual and beautiful the landscape was when flying home for my dad's funeral.
