I always look forward to March: It's National Craft Month and my birthday. And who among us doesn't wish for art and craft supplies as gifts?
National Craft Month is the perfect time to give and receive new craft tools, materials, and organization supplies to use in your craft room or art studio.
I'm always looking for ways to use my paper or fabric stash to create something new. How about creating magnetic note boards? They make great gifts.
You can use this month to explore new ways of using paper and fabric. I'm a big fan of Tim Holtz, and he has several new product lines–including fabric and decorative papers–that I can't wait to play with.
Plus there's a new rugged paper that looks, feels, and wears like leather, but sews, cuts, and washes just like fabric. Perfect for creating everything from creating handmade books to wrist cuffs and other accessories.
I've just begun to play with airbrushing. It is so much fun to give your wearables and artwork a new, edgy, look.
But I think my favorite way of celebrating National Craft Month is to just get all my art supplies organized. Give me labels, drawers, bins, and cubbies, and I'm a happy crafter.
What better way to begin exploring the possibilities than by entering our National Craft Month Giveaway. Enter today and you could receive one of seven fabulous prizes. Winners will be chosen on March 10, 2014.
