Community Rules and Guidelines Update – Please Read

Hi Everyone!

We just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for being part of the community here and to let you know about some updates to our Community Rules and Guidelines.

The social media landscape has changed a lot since we established our community here. You may have noticed the social sharing buttons at the top of all blogs and galleries to make it easier for you to engage in pinning, liking, tweeting, etc.

Recently, we added this bullet point to the Community Rules and Guidelines to clarify how images on the community are used:

"In an effort to extend your reach and make more artists aware of what you're doing, we may share some of the contributions you've made to the community. By posting content (including but not limited to images) on the Cloth Paper Scissors community, you agree that Interweave and its community members may share it on social media sites such as Facebook, Pinterest, or other social media outlets that may come into existence. We may also provide RSS feeds or widgets for some of this content, but only summaries or thumbnails, never the full content. If we want to use your contributions for another purpose, we will ask your permission first."

This policy applies to all new uploaded images going forward. If you have uploaded images to our galleries in the past and wish to remove them as a result the policy change, please do this as soon as possible. Beginning May 25 the new policy will apply to all community member images that remain on the site.
