Can these tecniques be applied to fabric?

Petunia,

Yes, these techniques could work on lots of different surfaces. You may have to treat your fabrics before hand--for example, if you wanted to do the watercolor techniques, you might need to paint your fabric with a water-media type "ground". One of the techniques is actually done on paper towels! That's just like paper cloth. Experimentation is the name of the game here.
