Beryl Taylor shows you how to turn paper into “fabric” using a few simple steps and tools you can find at your local craft store.
This article first appeared in the premiere issue of Cloth Paper Scissors.
One of my all-time favorite techniques!
I would think acrylic medium would be a better choice than glue, since it would be waterproof, and so cleanable.
Since first seeing this article in the premier issue I've made tons of fabric paper using this technique and it comes out great!
Perhaps someone could help...I have tried the technique a few times, and each time the paper peels away from the fabric, after dried. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
