My screenname isn't quite the truth.... I'm so grown up that I tell people, "I used to date God but I decided it is unwise to date younger men." I love the evolution of art - I was so tired of scratching on cave walls and avoiding the dinosaurs as they poked their heads in to see what I was doing. BUT, BUT, BUT my chronological age isn't my mental age. I plan to never grow up. It's hard to decide whether "art" or "laughing" is a bigger part of my life but sometimes I combine them!
I am, at heart, a contrarian. I not only hear a different drummer - I march with an entirely mobile, and somewhat inebriated, jazz band. 
The attitude of: "if you say it should be this - I will consider that to be the only thing I WILL NOT DO" has served me well when it comes to creating.
