Choke d`Arte Garden – 16 artist trading cards make up this garden. The flowers are kaleidoscopes (using Kaleidoscope Maker) made from photos of fruits and veggies (including an artichoke) I took at the local grocers. They were saved as jpg's and then rendered in different sizes in CorelDraw. They were printed on photo paper and cut out. The background and base paper is a variety of bright cardstock painted with cheap white acrylic and sanded to give a whitewash look and inked with brown to mimic dirt. Leaves were done with colored pencil and gel pen. They were then punched and sewed to card backs. The flowers were attached using pop dots for a 3-d look. Charms were added. The cards were secured to each other and the double skewers with wire.
