Compressed Gallery is composed from many,many pieces of my unfinished artworks.The background was a painting I had started and almost decided to throw out,but when I saw this competition I knew I could use it as a background for a collage.Some of the detail consists of watercolorings that have been double hole punched to make paper rings which I then sewed to the piece with metallic thread.The beads I also made.They are paper beads that I drew designs on ,finished then sewed onto the canvas also with metallic thread.Some of the buttons have also been hand painted to match the background. Under the clear buttons are pieces of the leftovers from hole punching ,cut to the button size and stitched on underneath it .I love doing detail.
