Cooking 101

First in my series of Fowl Playhouses … collaged found object assemblage.

Salvaged wood, old cutting board, Nana's vintage cookbook and Betty Crocker kids' cookbook, game pieces, baking implements, toy pieces from my former Tammy and Barbie doll days.

I admit that I received a "D" in the cooking portion of jr. high Home Ec.

I'd much rather start an art project at the end of my day than a cooking project, although I know there is an art to cooking.

The word "leftovers" always brings mixed-emotions and congers images of tired family.

A peek inside, using a flashlight, is the finishing treat.
