"Fireworks After the Arson" is a combination of leather, fabric, paper, acrylic paint, colored pencil, shellac, blocks of wood, a salvaged door front, and scraps of trim moulding. The center rectangle is the only piece of art I was able to salvage from a fire that consumed over 20 other pieces of my work. "Fireworks After the Arson" grew from the center rectangle in response to my effort to create something positive from this devestating event.
