Generational Achievement Dad, the Navy Years

This is a tribute to my Dad.  I used an old nail tin (from US Steel where my Dad worked).  On the left is a picture of my Dad that I resized to fit in the tin which measures 2 1/4" by 3 1/4".  I attached a circle magnet to a bottle cap and cut out a piece of a shipping tag from my Dad's Navy crate. On the right I photocopied the Navy Hymn "Eternal Father, Strong to Save and resized it to fit into the tin. On top of the hymn is a piece of vellum on which I photocopied a picture of the TBF Avenger torpedo bomber which my Dad was actually flying at the time of the photo in 1944 off the North Carolina coast. Underneath the photo are my Dad's Golden Wings. This is the first of the Generational Achievement Assemblages.
