Goddess In Bloom

I started by making the polymer clay face, and she became the inspiration for this piece. I wanted my goddess to be in bloom, so I cut a flower out of copper sheet metal, and used  one of my beading pliers to shape the flower. I then wrapped her in copper wire to add some dimension. Incorporated into the piece is one of my hand torched lampwork beads, a felted bead, that is bursting out of an antiqued brass bead cap, semi precious beads, freshwater pearls, and a glass disc which I affixed a globe like map of the southern hemisphere, I also made three charms out of copper sheet and hand stamped them with BEGIN, THE, JOURNEY. This piece is a charm necklace
