I started with oval wooden shapes and decided to go with an old hollywood kind of look. Hope you enjoy! Peg E. 🙂

So very cool and retro! How are these attached to the ovals?
Hi Sandy……….thank you:)
I meant to include more info when I posted, but I got distracted! Anyhoo, here’s the scoop:
1) I glued vintage text and images (Artchixstudio.com) to wooden oval tags (from Michaels) with matte medium. (I painted over the text a little with gesso)
2) The next step is to stamp swirls with black staz on ink and I colored them with a black sharpie and black gel pen. I made the black designs (little squares, etc.) next to the images with a black gel pen.
3) The netting was something I received in an order from someone on etsy, and I painted it black and glued on.
4) I glued wood stars that I painted black and glittered.
5) I cut letters from a vintage book and outlined them in gel pen.
6) Lastly, I got this great black sparkly ribbon from Michaels and put it through the ovals.
And voila! glad you like them. I hope CPS does too!!:)
These are beautiful! Terrific details but not overdone.
