Cigar box birds by Vae Hamilton

Last summer I collaged/painted all the birds that visited our feeders on old cigar boxes.  The insides are also "decorated"  The media is acrylic paint and collage and encaustic on some.

  1. I love this idea!! What a great way to teach my Grandkids what kinds of birds we have. We feed the hummers and watch other birds eat off of the pinecones they filled with peanut butter and rolled in birdseed.

You did a great job, I’m not sure I could get the ye as well as you. Its so real looking.
