I saw this little guy in a magazine recently and thought he would be perfect for the "Make Mine Mini" challenge. It measures 4"x4" on watercolor paper. The paper was first stained with coffee and then painted with watercolor. The bird was collaged together from recycled coffee filters, tea bags, and an envelope that were first painted with acrylic paint and then ripped into pieces and glued on.
Lovely piece of mini art, great use of materials too!
