The inspiration for this postcard came from one of my journal pages where I had written this "Swap Quatrain" poem. I thought it was fitting for this readers challenge. I used water soluble crayons and water soluble colored pencils on a silkscreen to create these images. Then I screened Versatex Textile Extender through the screen to transfer the images to fabric. Ironing the fabric "fixed" it. The heart was drawn and screened separately from the background and was appliqued on top. The hands and "?" in the upper corner are paper pieces that I added with gel medium.
