I LOVE FIGS POSTCARD

"I Love Figs" Postcard was inspired by Pokey's fresh fruit and vegie prints and color wheel prints using pears. My fresh figs were cut and stamped onto muslin with acrylic paint, which was photographed and inkjet color printed on paper. The fig paper was sandwiched between organza and nonfusible interfacing using freemotion stitching. The batting/front background fabric was an old army blanket.  Most of the added embelishments were scraps attached using freemotion stitching.  Very, very fun project.  Thanks for the inspiration Pokey, CPS and sister QA! (The backing fabric is pink!)
