Joy and Peace

This is my piece for the 2010 Holiday Art Swap.  The background is done using the "Glue Crackle Method" described by Claudine Hellmuth in her book "Collage Discovery Workshop".  The mountains are white cardstock that I coated with Shimmer Mod Podge (my daughters favorite art supply!). The trees were drawn onto old book bages with Zig markers and coated with gel medium.  My favorite part is the little log cabin! For that, I used a coffee sleeve and drew in the details with the Zig markers. When you open the door, it says 'peace'. Thanks for looking!
