Seeds bearing fruit

This project was created with the following mixed media supplies: Kraft paper, National Geographic Citra solv altered papers, leaves, stamped and encased in wax paper, original art print on vellum, laundry tag attached with a staple, and window screening. I used the chain stitch – looked like seeds, modified blanket stitch, and ladder type stitch with machine straight stitching. The quote is from John 12:24 "Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it can only be a single seed. But if it dies, it bears much fruit."
