This neckpiece is a combination of metal, resin, rock, and leftover bits and pieces from my workbench. The central piece is made from a plastic ring that I filled with resin and small springs, electrical components ,beads, washers, and "what-not". The metal base pieces were cut from Nugold (a gold colored copper sheet) and textured and domed. I applied a dark patina to the rounded piece, scratched in some markings and riveted them together. The circular piece was then applied and held with three metal prongs. I added the rock bead to give the piece some movement.

Wonderful – I love this! It’s a great example of recycling, too.
