The necklace begins with a 24" ball chain- each 'bead component' slides onto the chain. A piece of paper measuring 1/2" x 18" is tightly rolled up and glued to make the paper bead; a small piece of decorative paper like a label off of a food can such as Rotel Tomatoes or Campbell's Soup is cut into 1/2" x 1 1/2" pieces and glued onto the paper bead. I used a 2" eye pin to hold the beads and wire them onto the ball chain. The 'bead component' consists of a tiny clear red bead, a silver metal bead, the paper bead and a round colored glass bead.
