This is a set I created inspired by peacock feathers. I made the polymer clay peacock feather beads with pearl white clay and alcohol inks and they are textured and painted on both sides. I used a custom blend of clay for the teal textured spacer beads and antiqued them with black acrylic paint. I love vibrant jewel tones combined with copper so I selected some beautiful purple and copper faceted glass rondelles, green glass bicones and an interesting large loop chain which I wove hand dyed silk ribbon through. The bows make it just a bit over the top because peacocks are a bit over the top in the beauty category. The copper bar on the pendant is attached with artists wire and gold stone round beads. I wire wrapped tiny dyed fresh water pearls and dangled them from that and in several other places on the necklace. The round peacock beads were made in the same manner and were perfect for matching earrings.
