Poet Pastry Party

For this third piece, yet another literary tribute, I wanted to pay homage to some of my favorite poets: Shakespeare, Hardy and Longfellow.  I don't know how entertaining or donut-filled their actual lives were, but I wanted to give them a fun environment.  Other past poets that could come to any party of mine would be Tennyson and Emerson.  The cart I made for these poets is constructed of wire.  It has bottle cap wheels and is accented with torn strips of fabric.  I made the poets' clothes and pastries from cardstock.  The umbrella is sewn together from a collection of fabric scraps.
