Spell Book Shrine

Book board is textured, painted and antiqued. Watercolor paper is richly painted, stenciled and glazed, then is folded and cut to form pockets to hold spells, recipes, photos, etc. These are sewn to the body of the shine in a dos-a-dos style, one side using a few beads for spacers. The pockets open out to unveil the shrine which holds two small bottles and a small envelope is just right for a small photo or some dried herbs. A golden embellishment shines above the bottle niche. The edges and bottom of the shrine are finished with antiqued nails. A ribbon closure keeps the secret of the Spell Book Shrine.
