I was not born in Texas, but as the old saying goes, "I got here as fast as I could!" Since my surname is Outlaw, I guess you could also say — Texas is the place for me. Texas gave me a career, family and community and thus I am grateful to have found roots here. Geographically and culturally diverse, there is lots more Texas for me to explore. I wanted to make this map for my stepdaughter, who moved to Arizona with her husband some years back and still loves all things Texan.
I used scrapbook paper, fabric and city names cut from a copyright-free map. Size 8 x 8".
