This is one of a series of quilts based on the classic fairytale, The Old Lady and the Shoe. After sketching my design on white muslin, a combination of fabric paints, oil pastels, acrylics and watercolor pencils are used to color the drawing. Hand and machine stitching. Sculpey, yarn and commercial prints are used for accents.
Very nice – playful and fun and great colors! Brought a smile to my face!
