This piece has a "Steam Punk" influence but it is more a fun mixture of watch pieces, gears and formed wire. I started with an old clip hoop earring and some plastic tubing. I ran the steel wire through the tubing and added some large copper electrical crimps. I riveted the small watch to the pocketwatch face, embellished it with a decorative copper finding and some sparkling head pins. I secured these pieces to the earring hoop with a combination of epoxy-clay and wire wrapping. I formed a wire backing to hold all the pieces together and added some dangling washers and charms with jump rings.
