This photo shows the roof book intact with the lower book open. The side panel is visible and it has hand cut windows (from mat board) with card stock underlays and hand stitched, french knots, needlelace, knotless netting, cross stitch in the openings. Along th side is hand knotting. The other side in the center in the knotted string with a believe tag weight to act as a book closure when wound around the center buttons on the back.
The top shows the firs book with a top view of the star book and roof accented with wood chip shingles and three dangling believe charms. The chimney or spine of theis book is a simple pamphlet binding covered with newsprint and antique cloth tape measure.
