Art Doll "Embers"

This is an art doll that I made for a fundraiser/auction for the local Boys & Girls Club (that my husband conspired to buy for his office).  The head and torso are polymer clay with some acrylic paint, copper wire from shoulder to shoulder, the fabric is torn, stitched, burned and painted.  The midsection is wrapped with a variety of wool fibers.  The stand is adorned with bits of bone recovered from an old piece of furniture, metal washers, cheese cloth and washes of both metallic and non-metallic acrylic paints.
