By Deborah Pierro: I found this substrate in a flea market. I gessoed over what was on it, added a collage that I previously created, added the leaves (from an artificial sunflower that I cut up), added the harp finding given to me by a dear friend (from a piece of vintage jewelry), sprayed the "open areas" with bronze alcohol ink, then used gold paint intermittently over the whole piece except for the back. I made the original collage using duct tape, two heart-shaped doilies, and acrylic paints. Julie Balzer was my inspiration here. Visit http://debs-studio.blogspot.com/.
