Spellbinders Botanical garden Die Template Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko Fire Works Quietfire Stamps DMC Floss Deco Art Americana Paint Creative canvas with die cutting used as a stencil, then stitched to enhance, stamped sentiment as well as hand stitching to complete the look  


My hand painted fabric (Setscolour transparent) was micro stitched with close set embroidery threads, no line further apart than 1/4 inch. The over lay of black gives a dreamy early morning feel tho this piece. (24×22)

While this was an anniversary present for my husband, he challenged me to use only my own hand dyed or painted fabric. That was lots of fun!

Dogwood and Birch Trees

While this piece had been in my mind for awhile, it took me 3 weeks to put it together. Even then it took on a life of its own. All the cloth  (cotton, cheese cloth) used was hand painted this spring.
