The Intricacy of Lace, Floral & Digital Tea

This started when I began drawing intricate lace with pen and ink. Each lace 8 1/2×11" to 12×12" piece was tedious and  took time and patience. I enjoyed the process immensely, however, afterward I was not sure what to do with them. I endeavored to sell them at art shows, but I guess they were either too "old fashioned" or just not familiar enough to others for them to know what to do with them.  I was told by one gallery that the originals could probably go for about $500 each…but I didn't know how to go about that either.  I then began learning more about digital art and editing pieces online: adding floral, font, distorting images, digital painting, worrying about copy-rights and etc. These resulting pieces are some of the outcomes. This one (and several others) I took the middle section out and turned it into a matting for photos…and I can digitally add the pictures to it before printing.
