Wherever you go, there you are II

The class assignment was for two 6.5'' by 6.5'' pieces for a collaborative book we are working on.  This one I made first – I chose the circles because I thought they went well with the theme – when you travel in a circle, you start and end at the same point.  I think you could probably make deeper philosophical points about circles, too.  I have always loved circles – messy ones, perfect ones, it's all good!  Mixed media collage with acrylic paint, tissue paper, specialty papers and fabulous gold textured contact paper I got for free at the museum where my class is held.  I LOVE this contact paper and want to cover my entire house with it.  It's so fancy and blingy and..fabulous!
