This was my favorite abstract because of the colors and vibes I get from it. The background is swiped acrylic paint over gesso.

The background started with melted crayon mask. Love the colors and patterns so I knew where I wanted to go with this piece. So I added my letter doodling and finished with rubon lettering. I hope you enjoy this piece.
By Deborah A. Pierro – For his head, hair, nose, and shoes I used Crayola Model Magic, a modeling material that can be air dried. I used recycled wooden pieces from an old shadow box that I bought in a thrift shop. I painted them with acrylic paint and covered everything–including the face, hair and shoes–with…
"Do What You Love" is inspired by my passion for art. This piece is 12×12 inches and is a mixture of acrylic paint, text from a book, paint pens and water-soluble pencil. This painting is part of my year-long bird inspired series.

I have a habit of sketching for relaxation. I drew this girl the other day and thought it was fun with her winter hat and gloves. This is my first attempt at something with a holiday theme. This girl loves the way her hat makes her heart smile. Her hat reflects who she is; quirky…
