This lady is all dressed up and waiting for her lover; she is made from a resin mold and dressed in cheesecloth, sitting on a rust-dyed fabric 4×4 and surrounded by a melange of blue fibers.

My spun cotton ornaments are always my own design and they are created using 100% cotton and I don't use any pre-formed molds in the construction. I draw inspiration from the antique cotton batting ornaments.
Finding a way to show others who you are is difficult. The finished work is different than I originally envisioned, but I had fun creating this piece. No one ever imagines that the “unthinkable” will happen to them. And when it does… you're rarely prepared. The past year has been devastating. Some days are unbearable……
