This is my first attempt at a "portrait".  The pieces is created from pastels, oil pastels, papers, matte and gloss acrylic medium, gel pen, joint compound, and gessoed canvas board. I am challenged by the thought of framing it! I am naming it "Floating through Life".

‘Josephine’ Assemblage – LuLu Haynes

Josephine Assemblage: Bottom view sketch of Josephine Baker by Kimberly that I altered with original 14k gold wire braid borders, ink, colored pencils, watercolor, gel pen, glitter, crystal rhinestone, brass charm on cardstock.   This was submitted to Kimberly's online blog challenge – and it won the 1st Place prize!

Watercolor Tree – Untitiled

Watercolor, gel pen, and collage.  Background color resist using masquepen.  I used vintage book pages to make the leaves.  11X17.  Unfinished, so I am unsure of the title.  This will be a gift for a friend.
