Here is my step #2 for my first set of journal pages.  Used black Staz-on ink and one of my fav stamps to add a little art in one of the corners.  Worked great on the paint, not a smudge or smear.

Step 1 Watercolor wash

I dabbed watercolor paint on pages in my sketchbook and used a very wet brush to spread the paint around the pages.  On some pages I blotted the paint with a paper towel to give it a cool texture.
