Create an Easy Twig Sculpture

It’s a beautiful fall day — the air is crisp, the leaves are turning vibrant colors, and you’re taking a stroll though the park. It’s nice and wonderful, but there’s nothing to see here mixed media-wise, right? Wrong. Pick up a few sticks and branches … we’re going to show you how to turn them…

Previously…

The Butterfly Conservatory – An Upcycled Project

This piece was created using an old jewelry box. I stripped it, removed the glass, covered it in sewing paper, hand painted butterflies and other bugs on the exterior and filled the inside with natural moss, paper butterflies, handmade paperclay toadstools and ladybirds, and acorns and other natural goodies. Some of the butterflies are mounted…

Best in Show, Miss Fifi

Rescued Fifi from an estate sale. Fifi deserved to be displayed on a pedestal as the pedigree show poodle that she is. For more views of Fifi see my blog at http://curiousfleacircus@blogspot.com

The Beautiful Coco

Coco was born of my hands using polymer clay. Wire legs help her balance on top of this old pool ball. To see more of Coco's performance visit my art blog at http://curiousfleacircus.blogspot.com

My Take On Marie Antoinette Shoes

I learned to make these paper shoes from Youtube tutorials.  I believe you also may have featured some in past issues of your magazine.  They are addictive to make and so feminine!   Thanks so much for looking!
