Mermaid

I started by painting a canvas panel in several shades of green, blue and teal.  I crafted the mermaid from paperclay and then painted her body with acrylic paints and painted string for hair.  After glueing the mermaid onto the panel I used an ART-C bead mix to make the seaweed.  Mini sea shells were…

Woodland Necklace and Cuff Set

Fire and Fiber

I needle felted the base and attached a piece of my fused glass, which I encircled with seed beads, swarovski crystals, and czech glass beads. A fun and funky bib necklace.

Woodland Goddess Cuff

The focal piece for this cuff is one of my polymer clay faces. I like to refer to this piece as wearable art. It took me five days to bead the cuff, attach it to a 2" wide brass cuff, then sew a piece of suede to the underside so the brass cuff is hidden…

Goddess In Bloom

I started by making the polymer clay face, and she became the inspiration for this piece. I wanted my goddess to be in bloom, so I cut a flower out of copper sheet metal, and used  one of my beading pliers to shape the flower. I then wrapped her in copper wire to add some…

elegant garden
