Beeswaxed Portraits

I did a series of 10 of these wee portraits on very small canvases (2" x 2.75" and 2.5" x  3.5") I covered the collages with beeswax and embedded things like butterfly wings and lavender buds. I really like how they turned out and they smell a dream.
