Art to Inspire

Whose art graces Editor-in-chief Patricia Bolton’s studio walls?

“I love to surround myself with the works of others; some artwork in my studio was given to me by friends, others I purchased directly from the artist, and a handful of smaller items I purchased on Etsy.com,” says Patricia.

“My prized piece is a quilt that my great grandmother hand-quilted many decades ago, along with quilts by Rosalie Dace and Melanie Testa, and an assemblage piece by Lesley Riley.

“Having the artwork of others around me reminds me that even when I’m grappling with my inner critic, I have others who have undergone the same creative struggles and are in my corner rooting for me.”
