I love to incorporate letters and text into my Mixed Media projects.  Game pieces, especially Scrabble tiles, are a favorite of mine to use!  These dancing shoes say "Dance" on one shoe and "Sing" on the other shoe. 

This pair of shoes accompany my Dancing Dress, an expression of Contemporary Craft in the category of Mixed-media Stitch.  They are embellished with buttons, sequins, beads and found objects.  I lined them with vintage paper from a hymn book and sealed it with ModPodge.
