Business reply mail cards from Cloth, Paper, Scissors were fused to a printed copy of the house pattern. Fold lines were stitched, then the house assembled and the chimney added. Runs with Scissors, a Wild Wire entry
This piece, titled Runs With Scissors, is a little wire sculpture using recycled residential electrical wire, leftover fabric scraps and buttons, a plastic scissors charm from who-knows-where, a cardboard token from a giveaway game, and a base of 2 CDs. Decoupage medium gives her "body".
Just Fun and Fetching
Woven and stitched strips of magazine pages form the background. A painted recycled paper bead is wired on with an electrician's copper wire discards.
