This piece is made of eggshells, twine, paper and ribbon.  The heart is a handmade mulberry paper, and the background is painted using a dry brush technique.  My daughter and I are growing our hair out to donate to Locks of Love – I am wistfully wishing my hair was as long as my portrait shows!
