“Ali was abandoned in 1985 when she was about four weeks old and fit in my hand. She grew to be 70 lbs. of love and spontaneous joy. When she was about 12, she began to have seizures caused by low blood sugar. Surgery was risky, so we treated her in other ways, including feeding her small meals throughout the day. This pudding was her snack. She passed away in 2000, but is always in our hearts.”
